Visible Image CAS Rainbow Christmas

Here's a clean and simple card using the fab new Christmas 2020 stamps by Visible Image.

I've used a stamping platform for this tutorial but you could use acrylic blocks instead.A big challenge for me when making this card was keeping my hands clean so I didn't smudge ink on the card 😅.

Cut a piece of white card 5 1/2" x 5 1/2".

Place on your stamping platform and position the Merry and Christmas stamps in the centre.

Ink up the top half of the Merry using the edge of the Candied Apple ink pad, wipe off any excess ink.

Ink the base of the word Merry with the orange Carved Pumpkin ink and the top edge of Christmas.

Next add the yellow Mustard Seed ink followed by Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass and Wilted Violet at the bottom of the Christmas.

Your stamp should look a little like this.

Flip over the lid and stamp onto your card.

If you have missed a bit, like mine on this pic, you can reapply the ink and restamp.
Sorry about the shadows on these photos...

Heat emboss your stamped words with clear embossing powder.

Re-stamp over the words with Versamark and heat emboss with a second layer of clear embossing powder to get a really glossy raised finish.

Take the Merry Christmas stamps off your platform (I forgot and left a mark 😢, hopefully it will be disguised by the snowflakes).

Stamp the happy new year in Wilted Violet at the bottom right of the card and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

Turn the card 90 degrees and repeat.

Use the Cracked Pistachio ink to stamp on the last 2 sides and clear heat emboss as before.

Position the 3 stamps from the Simply Snowflakes set over the base of your card. Directly over the big extra C in my case lol.

Stamp with Versamark ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

Turn your card 180 degrees and repeat at the top of the card.

Use the smaller stamps to fill any big gaps.

Stick your card onto black card leaving about 1/16" border.
Then matt onto purple card with a 3/16" border and back onto black card with a 1/4" border.

Finally stick it onto a 7" x 7" white card blank.

Here is my finished card  😎 ...

And this is the one I made previously using salty ocean oxide ...

I hope you have enjoyed this project, thanks for stopping by,
Ali xxx
