Visible Image Forest Dreams

I thought I would show you how I created my Forest Dreams card using the beautiful Forest Stencil from Visible Image. It took a little while to make but I think it was well worth it 😎.

There is a list of things you will need at the end of this post and links to the shops and social media groups.

And here we go...

First cut a piece of white card 6" x 6". Use the blending tool to apply Ocean Blue and Midnight inks over the card so that you have lighter and darker patches. Then add a little Plum Pudding over bits of the card and all around the edges. You could use any dye based ink instead eg Distress inks to get the same effect.

Rainbow VI Leave Your Fears Behind

Tuesday 18th August 2020

Happy Tuesday, it's my turn for blogging on the Visible Image DT and I have quite a simple card to show you with a splash of colour, lots of white space and glossy black embossing using one of my favourite stamp sets - Leave Your Fears Behind.

Stingrays anyone? only on paper

We were lucky enough to have a few Caribbean holidays in the past, so glad we went on adventures and didn't wait until retirement. The colours of the ocean and the sandy beaches were just stunning.

One of the excursions was to visit Stingray City, we didn't do that one and I was pretty relieved when we watched the video that they showed afterwards, the rays were really keen to get fed and flapped up onto some of the people - eek!

These are my kind of stingrays, stamps from Joy! Crafts. I made the background using Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Powders

Dreaming of the Deep Blue Sea

I was sorting through some stamps in my stash, as we do in lockdown, and found some beauties that I hadn't used yet from Joy! Crafts from their No Journey's end collection.

They work so well with the Dare to Swim set from Visible Image.

I used pixie powders on the background and stamped with Distress Oxides.

Tues 4th Aug 2020 - Visible Image - Summer Wings Transformation

Today I am sharing a quick and simple card - the black and white butterflies transform as they fly through a coloured band and pick up their beautiful new shades of green and blue.

I've used the quirky new Visible Image Summer Wings stamps and Entwined Butterflies stencil. Just two colours of Distress Oxides Mermaid Lagoon and Twisted Citron.
Please excuse the state of my masking tape, I'm a bit thrifty with it.

Here is today's project....

Visible Image - Sunny Birthday

This week I've used the gorgeous Sunflower Grunge stamps from Visible Image to make a bright and sunny birthday card for my mum, Decemb...
