Happy Tuesday again, these weeks are flying past. Today I'd like to share how to make this Christmas Eve card using Visible Image's Christmas 2020 stamps which had their tv debut last week.
Cut a piece of 300gsm white card to 7 1/4" x 7 1/4".
Add a few drops of glycerine onto your craft mat.
Taking each colour in turn, pick up a little glycerine and work it into the blending foam.
Then pick up some ink, work it into the foam pad and then apply it gently over sections of the card, working horizontally across the card.
Build up the colours by applying more layers.
Change your blending foam and repeat with the next colour.
Brush a little Midnight ink around the sides of the card and go around again with the Jet Black ink to create a vignette.
Place a roll of tape or something circular about 4" in diameter in the top left hand side of the card.
Wet a round paint brush and draw around the outside edge of the tape with water.
Remove the tape and dry the card with kitchen roll. You should have a circle outline.
Pick up water with a flat brush and gently brush onto your moon shape in a circular motion.
Be careful not to let the water go outside of your circle. The water will lift out the ink.
Remove the water from your moon with kitchen towel.
Wet your brush and tap droplets over your card, a fan brush is perfect for this.
Wait a few seconds and then remove the water with kitchen towel.
Dry your card with a heat gun and then fill in the moon with a clear sparkle pen.
Take the Christmas Eve stencil, turn it over and position the reindeer over the moon.
Squeeze out a little black gesso, I use an old foil tray for this.
Pick up a little onto a stencil brush - you need to keep the brush quite dry.
Fill in the reindeer and sleigh with the black gesso, pounce the stencil brush up and down so that the paint doesn't run under the stencil.
Carefully remove the stencil and clean it with soapy water.
Position the stencil over the bottom of the card and stencil in the roof tops with black gesso.
The card is bigger than the stencil so start at one side of the card and move the stencil to extend the rooftops.
Wash the stencil again with soapy water.
Position the stencil higher up the card to create a second row of houses using your blending foam and the Jet Black Harmony ink.
Move the stencil along so that the roof shapes are different from the ones below.
Stencil in a third row of houses using less ink on the blending tool and a lighter touch.
Build up the colours by applying more layers.
Change your blending foam and repeat with the next colour.

Position the smaller stencil over the roof tops and stencil in the windows with gold iridescent paint. A couple of layers on the front ones will make them brighter.
Use less paint on the windows for the second and third rows.
Stamp the words Happy Christmas using the Classic Christmas set and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.
Matt your card onto white card with a 1/16" border then onto black card with an 1/8" border and onto a white 8" x 8" white card blank.
Use a white gel pen to outline the rooftops, bolder/thicker lines on the front row.
Outline the reindeer and sleigh.
Here is my completed card 😎....
I hope you have enjoyed this project, thanks for stopping by,
