Visible Image - Sunny Birthday

This week I've used the gorgeous Sunflower Grunge stamps from Visible Image to make a bright and sunny birthday card for my mum, December might be very and cold here but I bet it is lovely on the other side of the world. Here are some how to's if you would like to make something similar 😊

Cut a piece of white 300gsm card 5 1/2" x 5 1/2", spritz a little water on both sides to keep it flat. Tap a little Midnight Blue Pixie Powder diagonally across the panel and Emerald Green in the other 2 corners.
Spritz more water to activate the paint.

Dry the panel using a heat tool. Pat an anti static pad over it the card. Stamp the large feature stamp from Round in Circles across the dark blue area using pigment ink and heat emboss with white embossing powder. Stamp one of the smaller stamps over the green areas in a few places and white heat emboss.

Position the Visible Image Leafy stencil over the green sections and brush a little Uncharted Mariner distress oxide ink. Wipe any ink off the white embossed areas with a paper towel.

Use a blending tool to apply black ink around the edges of the panel.
Add more texture by stamping the small spotty stamp from Sunflower Grunge in black, going over the edges in places. Then tap a white paint pen over the panel to add a few white splatters and leave to dry.

Stamp the large sunflower onto white card using black versafine ink and clear heat emboss. Fussy cut with scissors leaving a thin white border.
Colour with watercolour pencils, a little water to activate and then add bling using a clear sparkle pen.
Stamp, clear heat emboss and then die cut a stash of small butterflies using the Anti Social  Butterfly stamps and corresponding dies.
Use watercolour and sparkle pens to colour.
Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment from Sunflower Grunge onto black card with pigment ink and heat emboss with white embossing powder.
Matt and layer the blue panel onto black card leaving a 1/4" border and then on to a 7" x 7" white card blank.
Use 3d glue gel or foam pads to attach the flower, butterflies and sentiment. Add a couple of black gems to the top corner to finish.

I hope you have enjoyed this project, thanks for stopping by,
Ali xxx
