Visible Image - Halloween Sweater

Soon as I got my paws on the fabulous Visible Image Happy Halloween and Christmas Jumper stamps, I wanted to play with them together and happily the smaller pumpkin fits onto the sweater. Here's how I did it 😊

Cut a piece of white stamping card just under 6" x 6". Squish some Wilted Violet and Chipped Sapphire distress oxide inks onto a craft mat and spritz with a little water.

Pat the white card onto the ink in a few places then dry the card with a heat tool. Repeat this a few times to build up plenty of layers and splodges.

Place the Dark Hearts stencil over the card and brush a little more of the purple and blue ink over a few places on the panel.

Use a blending tool to edge around the panel with black ink, creating a vignette.

Stamp the circles from De-Stressed over a few places using black ink.

Then stamp the bitty part of inky patch stamp over two opposing corners.

Stamp the smaller pumpkin from Happy Halloween using black versafine ink onto white card and heat emboss using clear embossing powder.

Stamp the sweater from Christmas Jumper on white card with black ink and clear heat emboss.

Cut out using the co-ordinating dies. Cut an extra 4 or 5 jumpers out of scrap white card.

Colour the jumper and pumpkin, I used neon green, red and orange watercolour paint, they are super vibrant.

Edge around the pumpkin with a black pen.

Stamp the Trick or Treat onto white card with black ink and clear heat emboss.

Fussy cut the words with scissors and colour with the red/orange used earlier on the pumpkin.
Paint an A6 size piece of white card using the same green as the jumper. Die cut with the Torn Fishnet Layering die.

Use pva glue to matt and layer the coloured panel onto black card leaving a border of 1/4".

Glue the panel to a large square card blank, 7" x 7". Most card blanks are slightly less than 7" square so may need to trim an 8" card to fit.

Cut bits of the green torn fishnet and stick them to the card front using pva glue.

Stencil a little of the chipped sapphire and wilted violet ink over the edges of the green bits to knock back the colour. As you can see from the pic, I did this after I'd put the card together.

Use pva glue to glue the jumper die cuts together and fix to the front of the card.

Wipe a piece of black card with an anti static pad then stamp the Happy Halloween sentiment with pigment ink and heat emboss with white embossing powder. Fussy cut around the words leaving a wobbly finish.

Use 3d glue gel or foam pads to fix the pumpkin and words to the jumper, and the Happy Halloween to the top right.

I hope you have enjoyed this project, thanks for stopping by,
Ali xxx
