Visible Image - Love is Immortal

Happy Tuesday everyone. I thought I'd do a quick overview of my Forever Love sample, for the new Visible Image release. I had a couple of attempts at the design, white embossing, putting the words between strips of barbed wire but ended up with this quite simple black, white and red one which seemed to work well.

Take a piece of white card approx. 5" x 7" and stamp the large rose stamp with black versafine clair ink pad (Nocturne). I used my stamping platform to re-stamp and get a nice solid black print.

Stamp this onto copy paper too and cut the rose out to create a paper mask for the rose.  Spray the back of the cut out with stick and spray/stencil spray and let it dry.

Position your new paper mask over the rose before stamping the barbed wire in a double cross with the black ink as shown in this pic.
I practiced how close to stamp the barbed wire on copy paper before stamping onto my card.

When you remove the mask you will be left with a crisp and clean image.

Stamp the Immortal and Love sentiments onto white card using your black versafine ink. Heat emboss these with clear embossing powder.
Trim the sentiments down and m
ount the sentiments onto the strips of black card with a border of about 1/8".

Stamp the rose image into white card with versafine black then clear heat emboss as before.
Cut out your rose then colour with a base layer of orange and then the red sparkle pen to deepen the colour. Also colour the inside edge of the rose on your stamped card where it might be seen.

When the ink has dried, add highlights to the petals using a white gel pen.

Mount your stamped card onto black card with a border about 1/16", onto white card with an 1/8" border and then onto a black 8x8 card blank.
Trim the right hand side of the black card blank to fit.

Mount the sentiments onto the strips of black card then fix them and your super sparkly red rose using 3d foam.

Your finished card should now look a bit like mine.

I hope you have enjoyed this project and thanks for stopping by ðŸ’–,
