CE Bonnita Moaby Stamps - CEC975 Queen Bee

Here is one of the cards I made using the fabulous Bonnita Moaby stamps from Creative Expressions xxx

Items Used

  • CEC975 - Creative Expressions Bonnita Moaby Queen Bee stamps

  • 5” x 7” white card blank

  • Low tack masking tape

  • WHBRIGHT - Creative Expressions Bright White card

  • Black versafine ink

  • Distress ink pads - Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers

  • Blending tool and foams

  • CSIWPSET2 - Cosmic Shimmer Iridescent watercolour palette - Carnival Brights

  • Cosmic Shimmer Frosty Sparkle Glitter Kiss - CSGKFROSTY

  • Paintbrush

  • Water spritzer

  • Clear embossing powder

  • Anti static pad

  • Heat Gun

  • Pva glue, 3D foam pads, 3D glue gel,scissors.

Step 1

Place a strip of low tack masking tape across the top of a 5” x 7” white card blank. Leave a gap of about 2 ½” and place a second strip across the card.
Apply Peacock Feather distress ink between the 2 strips and blend chipped sapphire around the outside of the peacock feathers.Flick a few drops of water over the inked up panel, wait a few seconds and then blot with a paper towel. Gently peel back the masking tape and leave to dry.

Top Tip  - stick masking tape to your clothes before use to make it less tacky.

Step 2

Swipe over the panel with an anti static pad.

Stamp the daisy with black versafine ink 3 times over the bottom right of the panel so the stems start in the white section and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

Step 3

Use water and a paint brush to faux bleach the daisy heads and leave to dry. Paint the daisies using the iridescent watercolours.

Step 4

Stamp the “bee well” sentiment once and the bee twice onto white card using black versafine ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

Use a pencil to lightly draw in the edges of the wings.

Step 5

Paint both bees using the Cosmic Shimmer iridescent watercolours. Erase the pencil marks when dry. Cut out one bee in full, and just the head, body and wings from the second. Apply Frosty Sparkle Glitter Kiss to the second Bees wings.

Step 6

Trim the sentiment and fix it to a slightly larger white matt.
Curve the bees with your fingers, use 3d glue gel to attach the full bee to the bottom left of your card and the glittery winged body layer.  Attach the sentiment with foam pads.
