Autumn is one of my favourite times of year, the beautiful colours, the nights starting to draw in plus new stamp releases from Visible Image 😀 I've used the new Nuts about Squirrels stamp set and Autumn Leaves stencil which goes perfectly with this new release.
Cut a piece of white stamping card 145mm x 145mm.
Repeat with the Carved Pumpkin, Salvaged Patina and Seedless Preserves. Blend the colours where they touch.
Spritz a little water over your piece, leave for a few seconds and blot with a paper towel.
Dry with your heat gun.
Position the Autumn Leaves stencil over your coloured card and tape down with low tack tape.
Colour the leaves with your oxide inks.
Remove the stencil and spritz with a gold spray such as Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent Gold Airless Mister.
Dry with your heat tool.
Wipe over your coloured panel with an anti static pad.
Stamp the squirrel silhouette stamps around the edge using brown versafine ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.
Stamp the large squirrel, one of the sentiments and quite a few leaves and acorn stamps with brown versafine ink and clear heat emboss as before.
Colour your stamped images using watercolour markers and cut them out.
Apply a little gold gilding wax using the tip of your finger over all of your clear heat embossing.
Leave for a few minutes then burnish with a paper towel to bring up the metallic effect.
Cut a 9cm square from the centre of your panel.
Matt the large panel onto black card with a border of 5mm.
Cut out your sentiment and matt it onto black card leaving 1.5mm border.
Attach the large panel to a white 7"x7" card blank directly using pva glue.
Fix the centre panel with double sided foam pads so it is raised.
Attach the squirrel, leaves, nuts and sentiment using 3D glue gel.

Mould your cut out pieces between your fingers to curve and shape them.
Attach the squirrel, leaves, nuts and sentiment using 3D glue gel.
