I used to work as a systems analyst and programmer and I love this fab Short Circuit stencil from Visible Image, I've teamed it up with one of the sentiments from the Express Yourself stamp set.
This card didn't take a long time to make....
Cut a piece of white card to 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" and lightly spritz with water on the back (to keep it from curling) and the front.
Apply the Bright Sunshine gilding polish over 3 or 4 sections of the card, then the Lush Pink and the Electric Blue.
Go over where the colours meet to blend the colours, the polishes dry very quickly so spritz the foam applicator to extend the drying time.
Put a little black gesso onto your mat or into a scrap foil dish.
Apply the black gesso through the stencil using a stencil brush. Use an almost dry brush so excess paint doesn't seep under the stencil.
Sponge a little black gesso around the edges of your card to give it a vignette.
Then cut it out and colour the edges using the gilding polishes.
Fix it to a larger piece of black card allowing a border of about 1/8".
Attach the sentiment to the lower right using double sided foam tape or 3 D glue gel to raise it up a little.
Stamp the birds and feather from the VI Guardian Angel set in black and clear heat emboss. Add a little blue/gray colour and cut them out. Curl the birds a little and attach them to the top left of your card using 3d glue gel or foam pads.
Admire your finished card 😎.
I hope you have enjoyed this project and thanks for stopping by 💖,
